Space is limited, so please sign up now for the dates of August 27 & 28, 2022 for our annual adult 2-day Foxhunting Camp held at our Kennels in Cumberland. Attached is a flyer with details of the Camp, including registration information. Below is some more helpful information about the Camp. 

The Mission: The purpose of the Camp is to introduce green horses and/or green foxhunters to foxhunting. It is also designed as a refresher course for experienced hunters. This is your opportunity to learn about the hunting as well as the riding aspects of foxhunting. We will also discuss the history and the etiquette of hunting. 

What you will need to bring: 

1. Cool comfortable clothing: breeches or jodhpurs and boots or half chaps and paddock boots 
2. Protective head gear 
3. Hay for your horse and hay bag 
4. Water bucket for drinking and one for washing your horse 
5. Suggest giving your horse electrolytes (available at local tack and feed stores) 
6. Fly spray 
7. Riding fly mask/crochet ear net *(optional) 
8. Lawn chair 
9. Sunscreen 

There will be a hose to cool off your horse.  We will provide lunch on Saturday and on Sunday, and plenty of beverages on both days. You will receive nametags for each day and also an additional information packet at the Camp. All participants (guests AND members) must have a signed waiver form on file with the office or fieldmaster prior to riding. No cancellations after Wednesday, August 24^th .  If you have any questions, please give us a call.
