The Museum of Hounds & Hunting North America (located in the Morven Park Mansion, Leesburg, VA)  is gearing up for the grand opening of the “Year of the Hound” Art Exhibit and Sale which opens over the VA Hound show weekend.  As this exhibit features your hunt, we are hoping that you will view the exhibit at either the Reception on the Mansion Lawn on Saturday evening or Sunday.  Museum Members are invited to a “first look” and an Artists Reception at 4 p.m., in the gallery, on May 26.  The Reception on the Mansion Lawn will follow from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Tickets and Museum memberships are available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/reception-featuring-the-year-of-the-hound-art-exhibition-and-sale-tickets-44776459596?aff=es2.  The Exhibit and Sale will be open to the public (gratis) on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. We will have golf carts running in between the showgrounds and the Mansion to enable folks that are interested to easily get up (and down) the large hill to Mansion (and gallery). 

We hope that you will also share this information with your members so that they take advantage of this amazing Exhibit that is focused on foxhunting in Virginia!  The art is truly spectacular and special.

Additionally, as many of your Hunt Staff are featured in the art work, we would like to extend an invitation to all Staff to view the Exhibit on Saturday evening between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. before the horn-blowing contest.
