The 75th Annual Virginia Foxhound Show is being held this Sunday, May 28 at Morven Park, 17339 Southern Planter Lane, Leesburg, VA 20176. Our Deep Run Hounds will compete with those from dozens of other hunts from the US and Canada in the largest foxhound show in the world. The show starts at 9:00 AM and runs most of the day. Junior Handlers Class will be at 12:00 and Pack Class at the end of the day.

Please note that some of our members will be there as vendors so be sure to look for their tents! Marshie Davis will be selling her beautiful feathers, E.B. Stutts will have unearthed wonderful treasures at her tent “Antique Hunt” and Sally Ashburn will be showcasing her gorgeous “Sally Lowe Designs”. It should be a fantastic day for all!

Our Deep Run Hounds will compete with those from dozens of other hunts from the US and Canada in the largest foxhound show in the world.

The show starts at 9:00 AM and runs most of the day. Junior Handlers Class will be at 12:00 and Pack Class at the end of the day. During the show one can visit vendor booths selling items of hunting interest or tour the Museum of Hounds and Hunting at the Davis Mansion.  Deep Run will host a tent and potluck tailgate. Those attending are encouraged to bring a food or beverage offering; please coordinate with Nan Thurston, cell 804-512-4475 or email yellowgate@comcast.net. Please note pets are not allowed on the grounds and may not be left in vehicles during the show.   Please also note that the MFHA Field Hunter Championship is at Morven Park on Saturday May 27 and some Deep Run members are scheduled to compete.
